The winged version of this little fly sure do get a lot of the spotlight.. But I would be willing to bet you'll catch more and bigger fish using the larvae stage of any of your favorite hatches. This little number in particular was conjured up because of the prolific salmon fly hatch that can be found in the Gunnison watershed. I like this little pattern a lot and I hope you do too!
